Work Portfolio
Take a look at some of the projects I have done and see how I have grown since doing said projects
The Butter Knife Bandit
The Butter Knife Bandit was one of the first Photoshop projects I have ever done all the way back in my freshman year of high school. As you can see from the first picture, it obviously wasn’t perfect. From the main character to being very saturated, to the hat and ascot not really fitting in, to the background being very blurry, you can clearly see that this was my first time using photoshop. But for my first time, it wasn’t really all too bad. I did decide to go ahead and do a remaster of this image in my sophomore year and looking back on it, I think I did a pretty good job. This also shows you how much I have improved with this program over the course of just a year, which the difference between the two is crazy. I then also went on to create various other sequel posters for the Butter Knife Bandit, but didn't put them on here as it would take up too much space.
The Heart
This was my final project for freshman year, and shows off my more artistic side when it comes to my projects. The idea was to make a movie poster with any genre we wanted, but the movie had to be called the heart. I decided to go with a sort of horror animated movie esc feel with my poster, which I think came out really well. Even now looking back on it, this is still one of my favorite projects that we ever did in freshman year.
Sonic Adventure 2
This project was done as a sort of side project that I wanted to complete. If you are familiar with me, then you know how much I love Sonic The Hedgehog. It is one of my favorite video game franchises and has some pretty lovable characters. One thing I was always fascinated with as well was these speedpaint photoshop videos where they would take 2d artwork and add all of these realistic textures onto it to attempt to make it look realistic. Being very interested in this, I decided to take my own spin on this. I took official artwork of both Sonic and Shadow, and added real looking textures, and shading and lighting to make them look semi realistic. This is always one of my favorite things to do because the process is so interesting and unique.
Interstellar Conflict
Interstellar Conflict was a project where we were tasked with making an animated and interactive movie in space. And with me being the overachiever that I am, I decided to make a fake movie poster for it. This process took a very long time, but was worth it in the end. The spacesuit, and guns were not originally there on the characters! I added them using the warp tool to shape the suits onto the characters. Still looking at it, I am impressed with how good I was able to make the poster.
Energy Drink Project: Marvel Pop
This project was really fun to make. The basic premise was we had to create an energy drink company, creating a logo, cans, and a website. My favorite part of this was the cans, but I still love how my logo came out. I tried to make the logo as close to the old Marvel Comics logo as possible. For the cans, the idea I had for each was that each can is a different Marvel Character. Each can would show the character, flavor, and the back would have a link to the Marvel website where you could purchase a comic that the character originated from. I loved all of the designs for my cans, but the Spider-man design was my favorite just because of how clean the design on it looked.
