About The Band

Tytoalba began as a simple band of five teenagers, set up by their music school. The band started performing covers of already existing songs, but they always wanted to do more than. They wanted to write their own music, and tell a story. So, they branched out and began writing their own music. They decided that Tytoalba should have one front person, with the band only accompanying them - Mick Andrews was chosen as this frontperson, and is considered the only official member of Tytoalba.

Tytoalba was able to get a gig in Falls Township Community Park in the summer, and the gig was extremely successful. The band already had a small cult following, but this gig expanded their popularity. News spread about this unique band looking to bring back genres that hadn't been as popular as they once were in decades, and the record company, Pinnacle Records, took notice.

Pinnacle Records approached Tytoalba with a record deal. It was a big opportunity for the band to be even more popular than before, and they knew that. They gladly accepted and released their first studio album.
